i don't think so...have heard that Dell pc's may allow their prod key(any) to activate a Win 7 cd if it was for a Dell? not seen it work but have not tired either

If you do not have a key, you cannot install windows.
This is not something we can give you as it is not a static key.
Check the inside of your retail box, or the email sent when you purchased the OS.

You should have received a valid license-key when you purchased a copy of Windows 7. Or, if you downloaded an "evaluation-copy", you knew that it would expire at some date, when you installed it.
