Crazy Tablet - Genius 8x6
I have same tablet and the biggest problem is USB cable!!!
USB able is made from bad materials and the plastic/rubbery coating of inner wires of USB cable is very easy to brake, then the wires inside of the cable get connected between them selves and all the problem that you have starts.
I had those problems and all was solved by changeing the USB cable.
Changeing the USB is litle bit problematic becous it is connected to the tablet by microconnector that is wery hard to find (for me it was inpocibile). Becouse I couldn't find the matching microconnector I connected new cable to the one on the old cable welding the wires to the ones on the microconector . AND IT WORKED!!!
You may consider to by new tablet becouse this may seam complicated, but for me it was an interesting thing to do and it payed out. Just watch out to connect all the wires properly!!!!!
I hope this was helpful :)
Sorry for bad english ;)
P.S. If you have any problem while doing this write me here and all try my best to give you answers.

Tablet's pressure sensitivity died
I've had this happen to me before. Genius tablets are not the best for this sort of thing!
Here's what I did:
- Unplug the cable
- Remove the Genius drivers and software
- Download and install the newest drivers from Genius
- Plug in via USB
- Test
You can also try a different USB port, but I do suggest removing old drivers first.
Pen pressure not working in Photoshop CS6
I had this problemclick on your brush menu and top right of that menu you will see a small icon with an arrow pointing down with 4 lines next to it, click on that then click Reset All Locked Settings. This worked for meDarren
My computer doesn't recognize my tablet.
do not buy a new one... the problem is not a cheap usb cable. open the back part of the tablet and carefully remove the small plastic rings securing the plastic grid that should be inside, on the topmost part of the grid there should be some lines, clean them with a tissue or toilet paper and do the same for the ones on the circuit board (be sure to do it in the same direction as the lines) and put it all back together making sure the siny part of the plastic grid is facing you and that should fix it.
hope this helps
