No, if you had that phone battery completely discharged for a long period of time, that will kill the battery, so from that point on, it will not hold it's charge. You will need to get a fresh new battery, that should solve the problem.

Well your phone may have automatically switched to another carrier because you may have been in a poor or no coverage area. The other network will permit emergency calls only. Try and select the TMobile Network manually. If this does not work and if the issue is not a coverage issue then the problem most likely is associated with the Phone/SIM. Try testing the SIM in another phone (has to be with the same service provider) and vice versa. The only other reason why this may happen is if you were playing with the settings of the phone. You may require a PUK code that should be able to be provided by your service provider, but that is a stretch in this case. You should contact your service provider before doing anything to the phone, sometimes it can be as easy as the service provider refreshing the network on their end to your phone. The other thing is that their may be a service interruption in your area, contact your service provider to be certain. Please post comments for more help or information..........

I feel ya pain. I had this problem and it was severe for about 3 weeks. What I did one day when i was on the bus and just messing with it was while the card is in and while the error screen comes on, take the battery out and put the battery back in and it should come back on and load. If not then your card is probably either corrupted or your sd slot is could be damaged

Please check following :
You have inserted the cable right, be sure it is completely in on both devices and do it in this way :
Insert the cable in the computer and insert the cable in the phone. look in the phone screen if it ask you which connection you will like to have, the choose the connection and the automatic driver installation begin :O)
Try to use another USB entrance in the computer and see if it helps, remember to check on the phone screen if it display anything where you need to accept the entrance.
Try with another cable, normally you can get them cheap on the phone accessories stores also online

sidekick can be charge from nokia charger from wide nob one i m using u can also

try taking the battery and sim out wait for 30 seconds and put it back in hope this helps

You can use yout Sidekick without internet for text messaging and calls only. You'll not be able to download rigntones, games, apps or themes; you'll not be able to see your MyFaves in the screen (if you have a faves plan); you'll not be able to set a security code in the phone; you'll not be able to use any messenger. What is worse, without internet if your phone dies everything, including your contacts, get erased from the phone memory. Also some phones like Sidekick 2008 do not show the name of yout contact in incomming sms or ring with incoming sms without the data feature.

What is the problem that you are experiencing? Is it giving you some error message?

Make sure battery is minimum 25% charged !! 1. Switch phone off 2. Take out battery and re-insert it 3. Hold the letter r and power on button 4. Phone will start and loading picture will appear on screen 5. Phone will restart again 6. Now let go of the r and power button This will remove privacy lock and reset to original factory settings.

From my experience, the flex cables in the hinge go out. You can purchase a new LCD assembly on ebay or through other online part stores. Then its just a matter of removing the 2 T6 torx screws from the hinge and installing the new one.
