Hi Penny, Did you try pushing down on his shoulders? If you remove the screws from the base and apply pressure to the shoulders he should able to move into an upright or down position. The speed of the sound coming out of the chip is too fast. Perhaps it was designed in Europe where the frequency of their electrical network is 50 Hz It is 60 Hz here and may speed it up unless they designed a way to calibrate it. Chances are it was not thought out that well at the design stage.

you have a round platform that the santa stands on. The sensor is directly in the middle of it in the front. If you look close you can see a little dark red bullet.

I think you might have burn some wires in it and I don't think you'll get it to work any more.

i would probably just go to my local DIY shop and ask him about it maybe he could fix the wires or you could get some new ones !
