I installed a video card
hello cristitincu
my name is ausi.
on video cards that have both vga and dvi you should be able to use both. if one (the dvi in your case) does not work and has no display the the card is defective. if the card is still under warranty you need to take it back.
please note in some cases i have seen faulty dvi ports working when you turn the computer on. they show you the system boot screen but loose it all after that.
good luck
hope you find this helpful.

Chassis intruded problesm in my asus p5kpl am se
hello ranjanpal18
my name is ausi
chassis intrusion can be enabled or disabled in two ways. 1- by a jumper on the main board or 2- by a bios option.
i had a look at your main board, could not see a jumper on it so i can say it is a bios option.
when you start the computer press the ESC key. this takes you to the bios section of the main board.
look at the menue listing to see if there is anythig call security settings. it should be there. if there is nothing with security in it then you look at other options such as boot options or on board .......
hopefully this has been helpful. if so please vote for me.

MY COMPUTER WILL SHORTLY OPEN BUT AFTER 10-20
Run in safe mode to see if you have the same problem. if it works fine try reinstalling the graphics driver.
if this wont solve your problem, Most probably there is a problem in graphics section. try installing a graphics card instead. before doing so u need to disable inboard graphics from BIOS.
