    Sorry maye meant to ask that!!! But have hade three aprilias and like the man says could be bottom end BAD split engine in to BUT COULD ALSO BE YOUR CLUTCH ADJUSTER HAPPEND TO ME SOUNDS LIKE YOU DESSCRIBE DID MYN MYSELF EASY JOB £40 £20 parts 20 gasket dont forget that i did and came off pissed out oil all over weel TAKE CARE PAL LEE

Sounds like either a bad wrist pin or if it's a deep knocking sound like knocking on the door it woujld be a rod bearing. You'll have to tear it apart to find out.

the old relay will say 70 amp however mine has packed in and been replaced with a 50 amp and works fine you could even go as low as a 30-40 amp relay ( god knows why aprilia use such a high amp relay )
