Hi my 03 rs 250 is in mint condition new battery and plugs yesterday was adjusting shift light then went to start it and got no spark also the lighting on the dash faded to blank turned the key to off position and tacho just clicked while hitting 1000 came back 2 hours later turned key and tryed starting no spark dash lit up for 10 seconds then went blank again just wondering if u could rule out battery or wiring or alternator for easy repair cheers.
It sounds like , when you where adjusting the shift ,it might be off a little and the bike thinks it is still in gear ( false neutral ),maybe readjust the shifter and see.worth a look.
