What other rotor and stator could be built into a Ktm 550 off road m/cycle?

The stator on my son's KTM seems like it exploded outwards on the ends.These electrical parts are apparently obsolete.Does anyone know if it is possible to build in a stator and rotor of another motorcycle into this one?

Is it a rotax engine ?

    It is a two stroke engine

    yes but who makes the engine it will be cast into it somewhere ,usually to tax make them for ktm

My son's KTM 50 senior pro doesn't start. has petrol vapour coming out of the pipe.
The engine is running too rich. The carburator needs tuning to get the fuel mixture correct or the choke may be stuck in a partially closed position.

Yes' I almost bought one last year that was street legal complete with turn signals tail light and headlight all running off the battery. The stock stator kept up with it all just fine. The only reason I didn't get the bike was because a Husqvarna SM 450 R was available.

good move will be have the recoil replaced and have the seals around the stator cleaned / investigated / repaired.
