Immobilizer light stops blinking

Hi all, i have 06 monster and lately , i've found out that in the morning when i go start the bike the immobilizer light is however not blinking as usual,it's been few times already and then i was afraid that the battery's dead which is unlikely then i start the engine , and fortunately it's alright, the battery's good. does anyone encounter this type of problem? or maybe it's the weather that freeze up the wires? i am just rand [thumbsup]omly guessing. i'ts like 60 in New York now and i store the bike outdoor with cover. ,thanks for your time and for all replies. josh

I don't think you need to worry. According to my manual (S2R 1K) the immobilizer light only flashes for 24 hours then goes off but leaving the immobilizer activated. Try checking your manual and if that doesn't make you any wiser, then call your local authorized dealer. He ought to know.

My 2003 silver wing 600 does not start, the starter runs but the engine does not start..what should I do?

I have a '05 Silverwing 400, while riding, the engine cuts off, FI light shows and it cranks but will not start up anymore. I've checked whatever I can to figure out the problem which includes side stand switch, relays, fuses, stop switch, fuel pump, coil, swapped a CDI with another Silverwing(this bike has no immobilizer) CDI from mine works fine on the other bike. There's no spark, FI lights remains on. Anyone encountered this problem?? I am at a lost.

My 2004 Monster 620 cockpit doesn't light up when I turn the key.

Sounds like you're using a black key that has a damaged chip, so the ICU will not recognized it and has immobilized the bike. Use the red key, or the spare black key if you have it. If you don't have a spare, scrounge the internet for various work arounds, otherwise it's a very costly repair.
