2014 Hyosung GV250 4,000 mi Will not idle revs between one and two if even stays running front cylinder not firing unless reved up..pls help see details
I"SSUE WITH TANK? CAN BE SCUFF OR DENT?
PROBLEMS WhIT A TAKE ARE BAD FUEL OR RUST INSIDE PROBLEMS MUST BE SOLVED , ISSUES we ignore. ( even sabotaged fuel, cap off and sugar put in)?
NO HISTORY told for the bike. for 1 year back or more.
find a real shop to fix it?
i GUESS THE MOTOR CYCLE SAT A LONG TIME
AND FUEL WENT BAD OR SOMe one put in bad fuel or wrong fuel in the tank? or Green carbon Sabotage.?
this is like the classic motorcycle problem most sit way way too long. and end up with bad fuel, then bad filters and bad injectors.<< all are hard problems real not mere issues.
do not post other persons problems ever ,only post your evidenced.all and did not.
if spark is good the injectors are not working.
clogged ,sticking or leaking tips, due to bad fuel used.
injectors can only be pro cleaned.
they have 10 micron filters inside so are reverse flow cleaned not just dusted off, in a perfunctory manor.
why hold back the facts on the TANK.
seem to me that is the real problem passed over and not told what.

Before I blame anything, I would check to see if it is getting gas, and if it is, how about spark? Then I would know which way to go, if no spark, how about the coils.? The stator is rare, they do go bad, but rare. and the cdi, Last thing I would check. Check the wires, check the fuses, check the spark, then squirt some fuel in the cylinder to see if it will fire. If you can borrow a coil, do it, just to try it. Hope this helps.
2002 Hyosung GV250 running problems
Time for carb cleaning , blow the jets with compressed air,check the float level.
Check the spark plug and replace if neccessary.
Check the air filter too, and if you don't have an 'inline' filter for your fuel line,install one.
Basically yr bike's engine needs a tune up...check the valve clearance too!

does it run through a relay? have you checked the cables for electrical continuity?
if you don't have a tester you can use a small 12v bulb on some wire for this purpose of testing.

It's not your clutch, it's the kickstand killswitch. I had the same
issue.
If you look down next to your kickstand on the left hand side you'll see
a silver switch (looks like a mushroom), follow the cables up to the
front end of the chasis near the sump and you'll find a black connector
with two wires coming out of it. You can either bypass the connector
using a piece of wire or just do what I did and clip the wires, wind
them together and crimp them in a connector.
Start your bike and hey presto - problem solved.
