Why does the water in my radiator empty out after 30 minutes of driving?

You have a cooling system leak..

Most likely a split hose or water pump seal.

If you need to drive it , top it up and leave cap loose, this will stop pressure build up and slow down the coolant leak..

You will need to pressure check cooling system for lactation of leak.

Hello. I have a old VW Polo 1.4CL 1999. Have a small yet annoying problem, the battery light keeps lighting up when the power steering cuts out. I have checked the fluid in the compartment and have topped...

OK, the PS and Alternator are driven by the same belt in most cases. This is a common denominator. Make sure your serpentine belt is properly installed. If coolant is leaking on the belt, it could slip, causing both light and loss of steering, and connecting all three problems. This would come from the front water pump seal behind the pulley, unless it is on the timing belt. I would suspect the coolant leak and pinpoint that first. Check it cold, hot running, and hot cooling down after heating up. Be careful of steam and hot water.

Oil leak 2000 alero, just replaced plug, not it, leaked out all the oil after I drove it 20 miles, please help, could it be a gasket or what

Check the oil filter. The old gasket might be stuck on the engine (two gaskets stuck together), or the new gasket might be defective, misaligned or missing.

When vehicle is running, fuel leaks from tank, if I shut the vehicle off and open the gas cap and release the pressure the leak stops. Could a defective seal at the top of the tank cause this problem.

the pressure in the tanks is not enough to "lift" the fuel up to where the seal is on the top. the tanks usually have the fuel pump and level sensor mounted in thru the top. actually if there was a leak anywhere above the fuel level in the tank it would not leak fuel but leak pressure which you would not see. it most likely is a rust thru spot on the tank, it only needs to be a small pin hole for it to leak and it can be very hard to see.

Vehicle began to overheat, started wanting to stall, service engine soon light came on

check coolant fluid level, after vehicle is cool allow vehicle to run adding coolant/water till the tank is full, then let it run for one minute and shutoff, allow engine to cool and **** in fluid, and more water and coolant (dextron coolant) and start the vehicle back up after it has cooled complety down. with the cap off the coolant place hand over cap, if you get immediate back pressure this isnt from thermal expansion is from a blown head gasket. also for this check to ensure water pump isnt leaking, because the pressure generated by a blown head gasket will blow out water pump seals, if there is no back pressure, but a leaking water pump, just replace the water pump.

How to fix an oil leak on a 93 tsi i cant tell if the turbo or somewhere else how do you cheack if the headgasket is bad because it smokes

there is only one way to track down an oil leak, you must pressure wash the engine top and bottom, then you drive it a day or so and look under the engine and on top for the source of the leak, common area's to leak are oil pressure sending units, valve covers, oil pans, rear main seal of crank shaft and front cover seal of engine.
