Since the tires are a different size than the computer is programmed for that could be the problem right there. U cant fool the computer.

SOURCE: Honda Pilot 111,000 miles. Wheel or tire noise?

it can be any of the above, rotate the tires and see if the noise location seems to change, but the last thing i would suspect is the CV, they just click when turning, the wheel bearing is my choice here, they roar, tires make a diff noise.

Testimonial: "Rotating the tires didn't seem to change the noise. They are rotated and balanced every 5000 miles. There's still about another year's tread left. "

What is the biggest tire I can put on my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500?

Your Dodge Ram 1500 had options for 3 different rim sizes. They were 17", 20", and 22" rims from the factory. the largest wheel recommendations for handling and speedometer accuracy are as follows;
17" rims = 285 - 70R17
20" rims= 275 - 60R20
22" rims= 285 - 45R22
As a tire size rule, the first number is the millimeter distance from the road to the bottom edge of the rim such as the 285 then the second number say the 45 is the percentage the difference the width is to the height of 285mm. The letter R stands for radial and the last number denotes the size of the rim it fits on.

My dodge ram 1500 4.7 quad cab gets terrible gas milage. my 03 got at least 16 in the city and 20 on hwy a 4.7 . this 04 wants to get 12-14 city and 17 on hwy. oh it has 20inch tires could that be a major...

If 20" tires weren't factory, your speedometer and odometer could be off by as much as 20%. Find a stretch of highway and watch odometer between two mile markers and check if it's accurate. Also depending on options, load, quality of fuel and regular maintenance have a large bearing on MPGs also make sure tire pressures are up.

What are the considerations when changing 20" to 17" on '08 Ram 1500

i take it you mean wheels.......measure the outer circumference of the 20" tyres.then measure the 17"they MUST be the same rolling radius........the ride will be totally different, like 20"are for road and 17"are off road.how much off road work are you going to do.....?

98 1500 Ram sport front end shakes at about 40mph when on rough road have to slow down to make it stop comes and goes

Please check the balance on your tires ... also check for faulty tire - tread separation etc. These are the simple things ... if balance is ok and tires do not have bulges or lumps, you will need more professional intervention.

Is my 2004 dodge 1500 rear wheel drive. Want to make sure which tires to put the chains on.

It is either rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. If you don't have 4WD, it's correct to put chains on the rear wheels.

Note that you should not operate any vehicle with 4WD engaged on hard surfaces with chains on only two of the wheels, as they'll be rotating at different rates and you can damage the transmission that way.

Need to change the abs sensor on a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4wd. where is it located?

Hello! It is located near the the wheel bearing, or hub; assembly. You will have to remove the wheel/tire for this and you will see it located on the back side of the spindle.

Hope this helps!
