Have you checked the fuel filter? Spark plugs gapped incorrectly, plug wires crossed or defective? Weak ignition? Vacuum leaks at the throttle body and check the vacuum lines as well. Hope that Helps.
After changing my headunit the instrument cluster dash light and gauges have stopped working! The car said no connection go to dealer fuel pressure low and engine management something. Car starts n drives but all electrics including central locking. It's a Alfa 156
Generally a FPR failure won't cause a non-start. Both your Fuel pump fuse and relay are under the package shelf, behind the front seats on the right hand side. The shelf has three screws that are kinda hard to see and some Velcro holding it down. Also thick your inertial switch. The white button should be up.
Well, your control center is telling you, you have a problem, You drive an Alfa Romeo, it say's I have a problem and you don't take it in for repair??? You have a sensor going bad, so either buy a repair manual, a scanner and tolls to fix it or take it to a dealer and have it fixed.
an air leak would weaken the mix of fuel to air so giving you better fuel efficiency but a poor power output.
was my last answer not to your liking, re **** fuel consumption on all fiat/alpha cars.but it is true, ask any owner........14.7 average mpg.......£205 road tax.....(tax it for a year and quadruple its value...)
I Think it's just conincidance. Sainsburys fuel is checked independantly by Trading Standards and a private company. Both turn up unanounced. Plus there is a warning in the stations if water etc. is found. This shuts of the fuel from that tank.
