No fuel or no spark. Check for both, Fuel first.

If it's not showing any problem during normal driving eg rough idle, power loss, etc. most likely it will be a short circuit, but it will be a good idea to have it scanned during driving to check for an error code.

sounds like a clogged fuel bar and may be in need of replacement ...every-time you turn the key from off to on the cold start injector fires the car.also may be a clogged fuel filter to bad fuel-pump but open the hood and visually inspect the vacuum lines for cracks and wear as well as the plug wires and other wires are not grounding out somewhere look for the obvious as well as all fluid levels

I have a VW city golf 1994 carburetor. It does get spark and it does get fuel. The enjin turns but it does not start. Is it possible that it is a flooding problem?

check that the fuel pump is starting .... if you turn the key on nearly all the way but dont turn it as to start have someone stand at the rear of the car to see if they an hear anything

What causes a rattling noise from my front Wheeles when going over bumps or even on a slightly rough tar road only, on freeway the sound is gone and forgoten, I drive a city golf sport, 1994 module

i used to drive a mk2 golf but now drive a mk1 and i had the same problem, especially when am turning. with my case when i had the rattling problem the cv joint boots needed to be replaced as they were worn out. that is one possible answer to your question. if youre DIY guy you might wanna check that out or go to your mechanic and he might tell you the same thing.
