SOURCE: compressor seems to cycle on and off 2005 nissan maxima

For protection of your compressor the system has a low pressure cut-out switch that turns the compressor off when pressure is too low (normally due to insufficient charge). This cycling on/off indicates low freon level. Charge the system and you'll be OK.

SOURCE: My 2005 Nissan Altima A/C The A/C runs cold but

are youc sure it is the compressor and if it is yes the entire thing. You can get a used one on Ebay for cheap. since they do not go bad often find one that is used with a 30 day gauarntee and if it works and it is quiet you are good to go.

The a/c system is fairly comples, and there are several things that could contribute to your problem. may be the belt is loose, the bearings are out on your tensioner, the compressor is bad, or the refrigerant is low.

SOURCE: my ac in my 2005 Nissan Titan blows on high then goes to normal then back to high multpl times

does the truck have auto a/c setup or regural manual a/c. you can tell by looking at the controls. if you see AUTO button eneywhere on the a/c controls, than it has auto a/c which does that. it speeds up and slowes down depending how you have your temp set.

My acura mdx ac compressor is not coming on

If low on gas, AC clutch will not be energized. Check for clutch operation by bypassing the low pressure cut off switch. If ac starts to run that is the problem. If it still does not energize then the clutch on AC compressor is bogus.

2008 Nissan titan AC relay compressor won't power up help

A low freon level will cause the compressor to not operate by not grounding the relay. Some Nissans also use the heater motor resistor to make the relay operate. If your heater speeds do not function on all settings the resistor could be the problem

Nissan pickup wiring diagram

If power is not found at the a/c clutch, the relay is faulty. If power is found, suspect a bad ground, or a defective compressor. the relay in your car controls the ac compressor, but check main a/c fuse first, to see if that is ok! is power going from switch to relay. if so the relay is bad. thats why it will not go to compressor. 07 Nissan Titan blows cold when ac on then after an hour it so it blows warm when I turn the ac off for approx 5 minutes and turn on the it's cold again. On long trips in AZ ac is a must. Help!?

When it starts runing warm check to see if the compressor clutch is engaged and turning the compressor.. Check for lines freezing up.. look for ice where the line(Pipe) GOES THROUGH THE FIREWALL into the evap housing. There is a relay that turns the compressor clutch off at certain times (to save fuel) .. possibly this is malfunctioning.

NISSAN ALTIMA A/C COMPRESSOR WILL NOT ENGAGE

I just fix my 2010 Altima
The ac compressor did not engage
the fans were both running all time when ac on The problem was the high pressure valve located on the driver's side on the condenser
This valve controls both fans and compressor clutch

Ac relay not energizing on 2005 ford freestar

The very 1st thing you do is see if the AC system has lost its charge of refrigerant. If the system is low on charge then the relay will not engage because it receives no signal from Compressor cycling switch which in most Fords is located in the low side AC line from the compressor, the low pressure line is the larger of the 2 lines from the AC compressor..

When my compressor kicks on it makes a loud noise but my ac is cold and blows good?

Could be bearing starting to go bad in your AC compressor. Keep an eye on it, so it doesn't totally trash belt when it finally lets go. Consider replacing AC compressor and in near future

If the ac compressor clutch gives was can this make the engine stop?

If the bearing for the belt pulley on the compressor seizes, the engine can quit and even appear to be seized as well. Remove the a/c belt and try to start the engine.
