following the investigation into starter switch failures in GMC products I would be checking this out for a warranty repair . Reports show that over a million of GMC cars have a serious problem with the switch and they have been ordered to recall and replace the switches.

no, you may have a bad switch or 4wd module,i ve done afew that had bad switches, but i would check it before just replacing it,

check wiring from drivers door to inside of car, wires sometimes split in half from door opening and closeing so much, if wiring is ok, the master contorl switch on driver door is bad.

change mass air flow sensor. auto wrecker would be your best bet.

Yes it has a rubber cover over it in the engine compartment.i would change the relay.good luck.

Go to a Muffler shop and have them check the temperature on your cayalytic converters. Possible low atr flow out of catalytic converter or muffler.

if it is a diesel check the diesel filter or water in the system

try taking your key phob and holding the unlock and lock button at the same time see what happens.
