Replacing power window switch on astra 2006 - 2006 Opel Astra 1.8

Is this correct for your vehicle below :

Who puts out Opel Astra ? Is it Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet etc.

Had the same problem with my 2002 Opel Astra but it seemed to sort out itself after driving it a while and resets on its own..Check out youtube they also might have some videos.May be a faulty servo on that window or the window cradle lifting cable might be damaged.

Change the power source wiring to the klaxon too a different power source that is not switched and hot all the time.

I have a vauxhall astra 2002 1.6 sxi. Ive just put in a mirror switch as the last was broken when I purchased car. The switch has been tested and is working but the mirrors dont work? Cant find a fuse which is specifically for that. Can anybody help?

Check your spark plug wiries.

The Window Regulator will need to be either replaced or repaired...
You can Buy a Repair Kit, and DIY if you're Mechanically minded...

replace the switch on the drivers door..this problem is common on the ford trucks..i had to replace it on my 98, and recently on my 2006 lariat..also the window will work much better..i dont know if it was moving slow before it stopped working

check for power at that window motor plug behind door panel while operating window switch. No power? replace window switch. Have power? replace motor.

The problem is in the loom in the steering wheel, it requires removal of the airbag and a new wheel loom to be fitted. The loom costs about £15.00 I think.
