Have a 2002 dodge stratus with a 6 cyl 2.7L engine. Was running fine then all of a sudden became hard to start. Switched the windshield wiper relay with the fuel pump relay. Started fine for one day then became hard to start the next day. Two codes that came up were P0171 and P0174. Replaced the air temp sensor. Still hard to start. Took it in for testing. Mechanic was sure it was the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump. Would not start at all unless spray starting fluid. Them would start and die. Replaced the crank sensor and the cam shaft sensor. Still wont start. Put more fuel in the tank still no start. Unplugged the main computer still won't start. HELP!!!

I would buy a fuel pump relay for that particular car. If that relay that you switched with the wiper relay isn't the same exact one then the fuel pump will not work properly. Make sure the right relay is in there. Could also be a clogged fuel filter.

I have a 2007 chev uplander, when i start my van the wiper comes on,switch is in the off posistion HELP

Your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out . Check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM - body control module . Wiper/Washer System Components
The Wiper/Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper/washer switch
• Body control module (BCM)
• WPR1 relay
• WPR2 relay
• Windshield wiper motor
• Windshield washer pump

Wiper/Washer System Description The body control module (BCM) controls wiper motor low speed operation, washer pump and high speed operation. The windshield wiper/washer switch supplies a low or ground on the signal circuits to the BCM for windshield wiper/washer operation. When WASH, MIST, DELAY, LOW, or HIGH is detected, the BCM energizes the WPR1 relay by suppling low signal to the relay coil. This allows battery voltage from the FRT WPR fuse to flow through the relay switched input then through the contacts and out the relay switched output to the WPR2 relay switched contacts. Since the WPR2 relay switched contacts are normally closed to the low speed circuit of the windshield wiper motor, the motor will operate at low speed. For HI speed operation, the BCM supplies the same low signal to the WPR1 relay control circuit and also supplies a low signal to the WPR2 relay control circuit. The WPR2 relays normally opened contacts are now in series with the current supplying WPR1 relay contacts. The WPR2 relay normally open contact at this point supply current to the wiper motors HI input.

could have a relay stuck closed or a BCM problem ,check for code's .

My 2006 hummer h3 will shut off. It will usually crank after a few minutes windshield wipers will start by themselves then the car wont crank when the wipers go off the car will crank

Your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out . The windshield wipers / washer are controlled by the BCM - body control module .

Wiper/Washer System Description
The body control module (BCM) controls wiper motor low speed operation. The washer pump and high speed operation are controlled directly by the wiper/washer switch. The windshield wiper/washer switch supplies voltage on the signal circuits to the BCM for windshield wiper/washer operation. When WASH, MIST, DELAY, LOW, or HIGH is detected, the BCM energizes the wiper micro relay by suppling voltage to the relay coil. This allows battery voltage from the WIPER fuse to flow through the relay switched input then through the contacts and out the relay switched output to the wiper 2 relay switch contacts. Since the wiper 2 relay switch contacts are normally closed to the low speed circuit of the windshield wiper motor, the motor will operate at low speed.
The BCM is the gateway to all the modules on the vehicle , all are connected to a serial data network for sharing info.
Having a factory or some other type of a professional scan tool that can view BCM DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's would be the first thing in the diagnostic procedure . If the BCM or wiper switch is causing a problem - shorted etc... it wont allow the BCM to message other modules , like the anti-theft system or engine computer , so the PCM/ECM - engine computer wont see message for the request for start . You need to know how the start system works also.
Circuit Description
Moving the ignition switch to the START position signals the body control module (BCM) that engine crank has been requested. The BCM verifies that theft is not active and sends a serial data message to the powertrain control module (PCM) requesting engine start. The BCM also energizes the RUN/CRANK RELAY. When the RUN/CRANK RELAY switch side closes, and the vehicle is in Park/Neutral or with the clutch fully depressed, if equipped, supply voltage is applied to the PCM CNTRL relay coil. The PCM verifies the transmission is in Park/Neutral or if the clutch is fully depressed, if equipped. The PCM will then ground the control circuit of the PCM CNTRL relay, closing the switch suppling voltage to the starter solenoid. On some vehicles the starter will continue to crank the engine with the key released until it starts, the crank command has timed out to prevent excessive heat build up in the starter circuitry or the PCM receives an engine run flag.
There is nothing your going to be able to do , nor should you try . So do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop.

How do I replace a 2004 Dodge Stratus wiper motor?

Not to hard remove the wiper blades then take off the shield that goes from side to side of the bottom of the front windshield under there you will find the wiper motor just remove and replace it the same way you take it out. Side note make sure you install the wiper arms at the same location you took them off. :-) Good luck

How do I find out if the wipers on my 2006 H3 Hummeris on a relay?

The Wiper/Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper/washer switch
• Body control module (BCM)
• Wiper micro relay
• Wiper 2 relay
• Wiper diode
• Windshield wiper motor
• Windshield washer pump
• Windshield washer nozzles
• Windshield washer solvent container
• Windshield wiper arm and blade assemblies
• Windshield wiper transmission
• WIP/WASH 10A fuse
• WIPER 25A fuse

Low Speed Operation
When the wiper switch is in the Low position, voltage is supplied through an internal resistor to the signal circuit. The body control module (BCM) monitors the windshield wiper switch signal 1 circuit, and energizes the wiper micro relay which will operate the windshield wiper motor. The wiper motor will operate at low speed, since the wiper 2 relay is de-energized. Low speed can also be commanded with a scan tool, by commanding Wiper Relay Cmd. ON and OFF. Refer to Scan Tool Output Controls .
High Speed Operation
In the High position, the windshield wiper/washer switch supplies voltage to both the wiper micro relay and wiper 2 relay coils. This energizes both relays and allows battery voltage from the wiper micro relay switched output to the switched input of the wiper 2 relay through its contacts and out the switched output of the wiper 2 relay to the high speed circuit of the windshield wiper motor. The windshield wiper motor will operate at high speed. During high speed wiper motor operation the wiper switch signal circuit is at the low speed signal voltage, and the body control module (BCM) supplies redundant voltage to the wiper relay via the wiper diode.

This info is out of hummer factory service manual !

2002 dodge stratus suddenly became hard to start. Switched windshield wiper relay with the fuel pump relay. Seemed to work then after sitting over night problem returned. Showed P0171 and P0174 codes....

Get a can of spray starting fluid and see if the engine starts up and dies right out, if so you have lost the injectors, either the PCM is fault (unlikely) or the power circuit to the injectors from the injector fuse is defective due to a defective wiring issue.

The windshield wipers on my 2007 dodge magnum will not turn off even if the car is not running unless I take fuse out, how can I possibly get the problem resolved

I switched the two relays under the power center cover, the intermittent relay and the power relay for the wipers and it fixed the problem. I guess the relay must have stuck to the closed side causing the wipers to have constant power if its not the relays then its the multi function switch replace relays first
