SOURCE: vauxhall astra horn

The problem is in the loom in the steering wheel, it requires removal of the airbag and a new wheel loom to be fitted. The loom costs about £15.00 I think.

SOURCE: car wont move when first started in cold

Your e-brake cable to the left rear wheel is freezing up in the cold and not releasing. It will have to be changed, there is most likely water and road grime inside the cable cover. You should probably change both sides when you do it to avoid a repeat in the near future. Once you have free wheeling in that wheel avoid using the hand brake until you get it fixed. Hope this helps.

It will be the sender unit on the fuel tank that is faulty, probably best to let a garage replace it as the fuel tank may have to be drained and removed to allow access to the sender unit.

The service stabilitrak light came on,on my 2011 vauaxhall astra 2.0 cdti sri diesel what do it mean

ASTRA ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
The Vauxhall Astra ABS warning light will illuminate yellow for a few seconds after the ignition has been started to self-check. The system will be operational when the light extinguishes. If the ABS light does not extinguish after starting the car or comes on whilst driving, this signifies a fault with the ABS system. Brakes will still operate although stability may be compromised on certain road surfaces. Take it to your mechanic to see if it needs to be serviced.

Where is water coming into my boot on an Vauxhall astra sri 2011

If you have a rear brake light on the back, this is the most common leak. Next is a spoiler on the boot. After those is the seal.

I have a astra sri turbo diesel 2005 with a huge delay in accearation. its had a sum pipes cleard out that aparently was extreemly clogged but i still have the problem. the car is still very unresponsive....

Try replacing the bottom intercooler pipe with a silicon one the rubber pipe fitted as standard gets oil contamination and deteriorates/splits reducing pressure/boost to the turbo causing lack of power and eventually limp mode.
Silicon pipes dont suffer from this problem and should hopefully solve your problem.

Igot a vauxhall astra 1.8 sri igot a light cum on the dash its a car with a spanner threw it when on the engine idles bad

This is your mechanical fault light and the lack of power is the car going into limp mode to protect the engine and its components.
Have a garage run a diagnostic check to find the fault code and the fault.
Hope this helps

Trouble locating fuse box in a vauxhall astra 54

a '54 astra??? not quite sure which model you are refering to, but in most vauxhalls the fusebox is located in the footwell of either the driverside or the passenger side. There is small hatch that opens if it is pulled.

But on some astras it is located behind the storage compartment to the right hand side of the steering column and the drivers door.
