My 1999q45t start up but alternator wont turn fan clutch wont turn crank pulley turn battery light on brake on

If I have it right, the alternator will not turn. This might likely be a frozen bearing, if in fact this part is causing the problem.
If the fan clutch is not turning, it may also be a frozen bearing, if this part is the problem.
If the crank pulley is turning, then the motor runs, and the problem is one of the other units that are driven by the serpentine belt that brings the power from the crankshaft.
You also may have a frozen idler pulley, or a frozen water pump, or a frozen power steering pump.
God bless your effort.

1999 Saturn p0410

P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction
The P0410 code refers to the emissions system. The AIR pump puts air to the exhaust to lower emissions. It takes in outside air and pumps it through two one-way check valves into each bank of the exhaust.

About 90% of the time that this code is set, the one-way check valves have worn out or failed and allow water (which occurs naturally in the exhaust) back into the pump. In any cold climate, especially in climates with higher humidity, this water may be more excessive. The water partially fills the AIR pump, it can then freeze. When the PCM commands the pump on, if the pump is frozen it cannot turn, thus overloading the circuit and "popping" the fuse.

Possibly symptoms include:
MIL illumination obviously
Hesitation on acceleration
Noise from a bad/stuck AIR pump

A code P0410 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Water may have collected in the AIR pump or the vent solenoid and frozen or corroded the pump
Blown AIR pump fuse due to freezing up

Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I have a 2000 voyager that my water pump went, i lost all the coolant, so i just added water. the temp was out side 10 - 15. the temp is still the same. i went out to start my van, the serpentine belt...

If you do not have acess to a warm garage so you can though the van out properly,it is going to be tough. One can only asume that if the radiator is half full of frozen watter and the bottom rad hose is frozen as well that the block will be half frozen also. You need to remove the radiator, hoses and thermostate.Plug in block heaters, put about half a bottle of strate ANTI- FRE.... in the engine where you took the thermostat from. Place an adiquet drip pan under watter pump area.Thaw Radiator and hoses out in a warm plase.Once the block is thawed out you can install the radiator and hoses and a new belt.If you think it is taking to long to thaw out the engine block you can purchase a heater that will stick to the bottom of the oil pan they are magnetic and very strong, the more heat the better.Good Luck.

My 2002 ford windstar has a leak comming from the pipe thats connected to the water pump and now my belt has broken and the waterpump I believe is frozen. can a waterpump freeze from having water put into...

i think your water pump is done for. replace pump and the belt and you should be good to go. that lower pipe always rotts out on these vans. might want to replace the coolant bypass hose on top while your at it. it tends to brake around the same time as the lower pipe

Rear wiper water wash jet not working, water pump working water bottle full winscreen dry

Look at the nozzle where the Fluid comes out.
Using a straight pin (like for sewing), inspect this hole. Insert the pin straight into the hole to see if you have any blockages. Recheck operations.
During the Winter these often become frozen with outside precipitation. You can also use a hair dryer set on "hot", and heat up and thaw-out the nozzle.
During the Summer months these often become blocked with wax or dirt.
If the Pump is actually working, you may have to disconnect and check the tubing for fluid flow.
Just because you hear the Pump "humming" does not mean the Pump is pumping.
If the Pump is pumping, the tubing may be clogged and/or frozen. Again use the hair dryer to thaw out.
Make sure you use the proper fluid and not water to prevent the system from freezing.
Further: If you have tried and tried to use the Pump with no results, you can burn the Pump Motor out. Again it may sound like it is working, but in actuality it is not pumping.

Code po410

  • Water may have collected in the AIR pump or the vent solenoid and frozen or corroded the pump
  • Blown AIR pump fuse due to freezing up
Possible solution:
This may be covered under the emissions warranty on the vehicle. If your vehicle is out of bumper-to-bumper warranty, check if the emissions warranty is still valid!
  • Replace the AIR pump AND one-way check valve
  • Test and clean the AIR pump AND test and replace the one-way air check valve
  • Replace the AIR pump inlet hose
  • Replace the AIR pump fuse (found under the hood)
