You have a bad valley pan gasket, not very expensive to fix at all, it is located under the intake manifold, happened to me and almost everyone I know that has this truck, goodluck

SOURCE: engine overheated, now car won't start without giving it gas

Some cars cut off as a fail safe to overheating especially on newer cars. The computer controls the fans and if they are not working the computer is probably telling the car to shut off. Have you replaced the motors already, if not, this is what's happening. Once you replace the motors it should run fine. I wouldn't suggest driving it too much with this problem as it may affect the computer by giving it false info.

I drive a 2011 Dodge Ram. When I start the truck it starts with a loud rotating noise. As I start to drive it has a very loud humming noise and gets louder as I accelerate.

Bad idler pulley (belt), bad alternator bearings, water pump..pretty much anything driven by the belt would be primary suspect. If all that checks out bad engine bearings are also a possibility. As well.

Will the dash from a 1997 dogde ram 1500 4x4 fit a 2000 dogde ram 1500 4x4 sport?

Highly unlikely. Car/truck manufacturers don't apply the old VW beetle philosophy that reuse is cheaper; they redesign every year. Even if it would FIT, the wiring harness is bound to be significantly different between the two model years so most things would not connect up correctly.

Reset change oil soon 2008 dogde ram 1500 5.7

some of these , you turn on your ignition key, but do not start the vehicle, and then push the accelerator to the floor 3 times within 10 seconds, then turn off ignition, then turn the ignition back on, oil change reminder , should be ok now.

My front transfer case on my 1997 Ram 1500 is

If you've been 4X4 driving a lot it could be that your gears are binding up . Meaning . . if you've ever had your vehicle locked in 4 and decided to hit pavement without unlocking, ( even if it was only a short distance, ie: a block or to), your gears have a bind on them which in time will really cause major problems. Starting with being hard to get into and out of 4WD and grinding noises. there are a few other things it could be instead but starting with this no cost attempt to finding out, I suggest you try it. You might be suprised. Put the truck in neutral . Jack up the front and rear of the truck and secure withjack stands. the wheels should give up what bind there is at that point.

Loud whistle noise from my 97 dodge ram 1500 sprayed brake cleaner around engine for vacuum leaks but didn't hear any change in idle, so confused.

sounds like a vacuum leak. spray w-d 40 around vacuum hoses to find out. intake manifold might be leaking or sucking air as well use w-d- 40 there as well. if it has a turbo charger it may be going out. water pump, alternator and belts can make winning noises as well.

I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 club cab with the 360 Magnum engine. Under stress of pulling a trailer the engine nozzle lags and uses oil. I have been told that the gasket on the throttle body needs to...

I do know these are good for sucking in the gasket for the pan on the bottom of the intake and causing spark knock and oil consumption but not a throttle body gasket.
