At each end of the gas spring lift cylinder there is a spring steel "U" shaped clip, pry it off and the shock comes right off the ball socket.

You will need to remove unit from the dash and send it out for repair to a factory approved repair center like the one at this link.

use a wedge in door top grab handle with wire open, then remove rear seats .

Yes, you have to open the door panel and inspect the linakage. Either something came loose and fell of, or something is broken..

The trunk lid unless damaged should be effortless to open.... unless you have a defective power closing device or a bent piston. Inspect for this before ordering parts from a Lexus dealer.
The 430 is an exceptionally well made car and this problem sounds very out of character unless there has been some unknown damage.
If on the other hand there was a bad component , LEXUS WOULD NORMALLY HAVE ISSUED A RECALL.

The outer cone is where the problem is, right where the fiber/foam of the cone material attaches to the outside metal frame. if you look closely, you will find the speaker is torn along this line, at least at some point(s). I used ge silicone 2 clear, make a bead all the way around, took about ten minutes, could not be better. Great fix. Also check lexus owners club for more detail.

sent your to the nearest dealer for proper diagnose,gas flap can open manually inside trunk,use mechanical key to open the trunk.

are they not the same as the other cars where you will press a clip at the bottom of one of the post and you can slide out the headrest?
