Starting issues with Toyota 4runner 2000

Without seeing the car I won't know this for certain, neither will anyone else here.Try checking the MAF sensor. If you have a diagnostic tool, check the resistance at low throttle and high throttle. You are looking for a consistant change in resistance over the angle of the throttle. If it doesn't seem consistant, then this might indicate a fault with it.

2000 TOYOTA FRONT DOOR PANEL

Hi Joseph, Pull the lever for the door release open and behind it you will see a Philips machine screw. Behind it you will see a plastic swivel clip which must be released from the operating rod. Release that and remove the rod from its location. Insert a long Philips screw driver into the holes under the arm rest and remove the deep screws. (two or three, depending on the model and interior furnishings). Gently pry up the window cluster switch control from the arm rest. Detach the electrical socket by pressing on the lock release. Sneak into the kitchen and borrow the pastry knife, slipping it under your shirt or concealing it in any appropriate place, take it out to the vehicle while keeping a good look out just in case. Take the flat bladed knife from its hiding place and slide it between the door frame and the bottom of the panel. Lift it very gently towards you until you hear a pop sound. Continue along the bottom of the panel and up the sides. Once loose, lift the panel upwards and over the door locking button. Assembly is opposite. Ps, Remember to get the knife back before anyone notices that it's gone. Regards John
