Has the PCM been scanned for fault codes?

Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try

Start with inspecting the rear tires for out of round or bulges. Next, inspect the rear shocks for oil leaks, Both of these can cause the thump you describe.

have te fault codes read have the transmission oil changed indicates that there is a problem with the torque converter clutch servo/solenoid or the transmission pressure pump controls

get your ignition switch tested it might have a bad connection for the accessory position and its shorted to on

Dealer should have recommended replacing the entire unit. There is a fault in it. Changing the antenna is not going to help.

Have it scanned to see what is causing this.

Front, about 23mm, rear, 11mm. Be aware that machining rotors is a short term solution. It's more cost effective (ie labour) to replace with new rotors and pads.

Squealing noises are either * a worn or loose belt. replace the belt. * an A/C belt idler bearing. Replace belt and idler. * alternator bearing: replace the alternator. * timing belt idler bearing(s). Replace the timing belt and all bearings (there's a full kit for this).

Run a diagnostic test to find the code that will tell you what component is not working.

There is much written about these clocks failing on the Subaru forums. The fix for most is to repair bad solder joints inside the clock, or replace the clock.

Try replacing both tail light bulbs with LED bulbs available at most auto parts supply stores. If screw in be sure to place a dot of anti-seize compound on the threads. LED bulbs more fault tolerant as they need considerably less amperage to illuminate.

Your not touching the glass are you ? touching the glass will shorten the life of the lamp.

I found this under Fixya; 2006 Subaru Outback; there were 25 answers: The problem is not with an emission issue as you would expect with a check engine light. The ER 55 code on the odometer means that there is a loss of communication with the ECU, that is why the check engine light is on and cruise light flashing. for what ever reason whenever your check engine light comes on the cruise becomes disabled. Lame I know. I work in the service department and have seen this issue a lot. The only real way to fix this issue is to go the dealer and have them do a reflash for your vehicle. If the ECU is bad it is covered under the federal emmission wrty for 8 years or 80,000 miles

yep, subs have a valve on the centre differential that distributes drive from the engine to the front and rear diffs. when you get that shuddering on hard lock the valve needs replacing.
