Whin turning lights on they dont work replaced headlight switch still want come on

Check out the fuse/relay. Do not think they are getting power since the likelihood of two bulbs burning out at same time is nil.

Can't find where water leak is coming from

There is a possibility that it could be the water pump, which is hidden from view as it is driven by the timing chain.

WHERE IS THE CAM POSITION SENSOR LOCATED ON A 2004 NISSAN MAXIMA

WHEN YOU STAND ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR YOU ONE IS RIGHT BELOW OF THE INTAKE WHICH IS BANK 2 OR THE ONE CLOSE TO FIREWALL , BANK 1 ONE IS ON SAME SIDE NEXT TO THE RADIATOR BUT THEY BOTH ON THE CAM RIGHT SIDE OF THE ENGINE, THE EASIEST WAY TO IDENTIFY THEM IS THAT THEIR CONNECTOR IS GREEN, ONCE YOU LOCATE THEM THE CLIP NEEDS TO BE PUSHED DOWN TOWARD THE SENSOR FOR THE CONNECTOR TO BE RELEASED, ONCE YOU REMOVE THE CONNECTOR THERE WILL BE ONLY A 10MM SCREW HOLDING THE SENSOR PULL IT OUT , THE SAME SETTING THE NEW ONE PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN , THIGHT THE 10MM SCREW, CONNECT IT BACK AND YOU'RE DONE,BUT FOR THE ONE ON THE BACK SOMETIMES MIGHT BE NECESARY FOR YOU TO TAKE THE INTAKE OFF....HOPEFULLY IS NOT YOUR CASE....

Good luck!!! and if you need the crank for hard starting on hot/warm, it is located on the botton middle section on the transmission is the only cable that goes down to a small piece of metal and it is held by a 10mm screw only to protect the sensor, you will se the sensor once you remove that small about 6-8 inches piece of metal. Then you'll be able to unescrew the 10mm screw that holds the crank position sensor. when you pull it off you'll be able to see the fly wheel inside the transmission...

you all enjoy your rides out htere!!!

2006 nissan maxima clutch problems

I have the same problem with my '06. It must be a design problem of some sort for so many people to have the same issue. I think we should all call the dealerships' service departments so they can address it with Nissan tech reps. Then if Nissan doesn't come up with a 'fix' we advertise the problem somehow so Nissan loses customers or customer confidence.

PO340 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

Appears there was a recall on that sensor over 10 years ago. Many complaints that the dealers just flashed the cpu instead of replacing the part. Many complaints about Duralast replacement parts for this sensor. Replace the sensor should solve your problem if it has rough running or not.

Why is it very hard to start, has no power, will barely move, then dies?

Lack of information, dear. Perhaps fuel pump (need to check pressure not less than 2.5 at idle),need to scan it for trouble codes(perhaps one of crank sensors),first check visually for all pipes and hoses for no leak.

Is there a recall on 2004nissian maxium key switch car wont start

your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your buick dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.

Where is proportioning valve located

The proportioning valve is located on the passenger side near the firewall. It's attached the ABS Module. It will look like a block of aluminum with 4 metal brake lines attached. You can see it clearly by lifting the hood, leaning in the engine compartment near the passenger strut mount.
