The "check engine light" on a vehicle is a generic indicator that some comportment or part of the vehicle is faulty. It could be any one of several components associated with ignition, fuel delivery, emissions, etc. Something as simple as a loose gas cap can trigger a "check engine light" to come on. The vehicle should be scanned with a OBDII scanner to better pin point where the problem is. The scanner will read the vehicle's fault codes, which will indicate what component or what part of the vehicle is not working correctly. I believe places such as Auto Zone or Advance Auto will do a scan for little to no cost. Be aware that these fault codes are general indicators, so before you start replacing parts, it is best to have the vehicle scanned with comprehensive diagnostic equipment to pin point the problem. Those diagnostics are performed by a certified mechanics shop.
most of the clutch hidraulic systems do not have purge valbe for air when I have that problem i follow the same steps of the brakes system and when the fluid is presurised I losse the bottom endon the clutch cylinder a few time untill no bubbles come out and that work for me very good.
This would be the "Check Engine" light in most cars. Please read on.
HelloWhen the service engine soon light (Also called the check
engine light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that
Powertrain Control Module (computer) has detected a failure
somewhere in the systems it controls, this can be the transmission or
the engine or emission system, there are fault codes set in the
modules memory for these faults. What needs to happen now is to have
the powertrain control module scanned with a special tool called an
OBD2 electronic engine control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once
the code(s) are read then you must perform the diagnostics for each
code and make the appropriate repairs based on the findings of the
diagnosis that was performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint"
testing.
The yellow exclamation point close to the center of the odometer looks like an exclamation point surrounded by parentheses. This light means you should check your tire pressure. Once you have checked the air in the tires and remedied any issues, push the "Set" button on the dashboard. The light should disappear.
Hi,
I have no idea how to remove the front grille of Octavia but to solve out your problem I found out one video which is showing to replace the new front grille with old or damage one. May this video helps you. Have a look
The company that carried out the service should have reset the service light. I would take it back to them to change.
However I will list below how to do it although this will change your servicing from variable to fixed so it's always best to take it back to the company that carried out the service.
1. Ignition off - Press & hold trip reset button.
2. Turn ignition on - wait for 10 seconds.
3. Release trip reset button.
4. Turn ignition off.
S.w off , press button and hold , S.W ignition ON, turn to anti clock wise and hold till (--------) comes , S.W off and ON a gain ,do same step if (insp.)
remove fuel hoses out , there is 6 bolt a round the cove remove out the cove , keep the plastic ring new ,replace the fuel filter ,keep the location of hose you remove , re fill container with diesel , then fix bolts
