2003 Mercedes Benz C230. When putting on the brakes my car shudders.

The way to do this is to have a set of wireless audio sensor microphones. You put one on each wheel arch and go for a drive. A co-pilot listens to the audio by the 4 channels as you apply the brakes. The audio will tell via channels 1, 2, 3, 4, which one is the loudest. The problem is more likely to be a disc rotor that is warped, but it could also be a a suspension issue, front or rear, The audio ties it down. The sets are about $80 on Amazon, but all good garages should have one. And the garage that 'told you' it was the rear rotors' was obviously guessing at the expense of your cash.

Quingo Vitess. How do you remove front stabilising wheels?

The manual refers you to a dealer and that is because the stabiliser wheels have to be set for Toe-In. Zooming in on the wheel hubs it looks like there is some type of clamp nut. There is no proper service manual online, just the owner and maintenance manual below. https://www.wholesalemobility.com.au/Uploadimages/download/Quingo-Vitess-User-Manual.pdf ..

Grind/scrape sound when turning right or left after accelerating from standing still.

Noise is a hard one to figure out without hearing it. Have you gone to a garage and put it up on a hoist? I'm sure that when you had the transmission work that they checked the u-joints, maybe? A flex plate that has a crack will make noise, but they looked at that when the transmission was out right? Possible bad motor mounts allowing the engine to shift and the fan hit the shroud. Can you duplicate the noise by with your foot on the brake and the car in gear start to rev the engine? Is there a baffle in the muffler or catalytic converter? Lots of possibilities.

2000 Chevy Malibu vacuum system troubleshooting

To diagnose the vacuum system in your 2000 Chevy Malibu, start by checking for leaks or blockages. Look for cracks or damage in the vacuum hoses and use a vacuum gauge to ensure adequate pressure. If the hoses appear fine, inspect the vacuum reservoir and check the valve. These parts keep up the vacuum pressure. Replace them if they malfunction.

What are the foot lbs for the 0-5 settings?

The 0-5 lbs settings you're referring to are related to ski bindings. Let me explain: DIN Setting (Release Force): The DIN setting, short for Deutsches Institut f?r Normung (German Institute for Standardization), is the industry-adopted scale of release force settings for ski bindings. It determines how easily your ski bindings will release your boots during a fall or other forces. The correct DIN setting depends on factors such as your skiing ability, weight, height, and boot sole length. To find your recommended DIN setting, you can use a DIN calculator that takes these factors into account. DIN Calculator - Ski Bindings - Ski Equipment - Mechanics of Skiing (mechanicsofsport.com) Brake Width: The arms attached to the heel piece of your ski bindings are called brakes. Ski brakes are designed to stop your skis after release so you can retrieve them quickly and prevent them from posing a danger to other skiers. The waist width of your skis determines the ski brake width (the distance between the two brake arms). For example, if your skis are 80mm wide at the waist, you'll need bindings with a brake width of at least 80mm (preferably no wider than 95mm). Choosing an appropriate brake width ensures that the brakes clear the edges of your skis and deploy properly when your ski comes off. How to Choose Ski Bindings & DIN Setting Chart ' evo Remember, always have a certified ski technician mount and adjust your ski bindings to ensure they operate safely.

Clicking sound from suspension when I turn to the extreme left or right? What is causing these sounds? It only clicks once each time I turn the streaming wheel to the extreme left or right.

When you turn to the extremes you are twisting the frame and body. Loose or worn bolts can let parts move causing noise. Also bad bushings can twist and cause noise. Try to locate the area where you hear the noise. You may be able to see movement or feel vibrations from the worn parts.

1991 Chevrolet K1500 1/2 Ton. 4x4 low trouble taking out of gear.

The grinding and difficulty shifting out of 4x4 Low in your 1991 K1500 could be due to a few possible causes:

1. Transfer case issues: There could be a problem with the transfer case itself, such as worn gears, damaged shift forks, or a faulty shift linkage. This can result in difficulty shifting out of 4x4 Low and the grinding sensation.

2. Synchronization issues: The synchronization mechanism in the transfer case may be worn or damaged, leading to difficulty disengaging 4x4 Low. This can cause grinding as you try to shift it out.

3. Clutch or clutch linkage problems: If the clutch is not fully disengaging, it can prevent the transfer case from shifting out of 4x4 Low smoothly. Issues with the clutch linkage, such as a worn clutch linkage bushing or misadjusted clutch pedal, can also contribute to this problem.

It is recommended to have a qualified mechanic inspect and diagnose the specific cause of these symptoms. They can perform a thorough examination of the transfer case, clutch system, and associated components to identify any faults or wear. Once the problem is identified, the necessary repairs or adjustments can be made to resolve the issue with shifting out of 4x4 Low and the grinding sensation.
