Service engine light soon.CodeP0101

Here is the meaning of the code.P0101 GMC Description The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is placed in the stream of intake air. It measures the intake flow rate by measuring a part of the entire intake flow. It consists of a hot film that is supplied with electric current from the Engine Control Module (ECM).The temperature of the hot film is controlled by the ECM acertain amount. The heat generated by the hot film is reduced as the intake air flows around it. The more air, the greater the heat loss. Therefore, the ECM must supply more electric current to maintain the temperature of the hot film as air flow increases. The ECM detects the air flow by means of this current change. 03' Envoy turned over at first then not at all

Are you saying it won't crank now, or just won't start ?There should be a solenoid that locks the shifter that is activated by the brake pedal switch. I would check for voltage at the brake switch and that solenoid. You are right in the thought about the code. It is for the throttle actuator control module and could have been set by pumping the gas pedal with the key on.

What does code p0411 on 2008 Envoy

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0411 is defined by SAE J2012 as "Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected"This DTC runs when the air injection pump and the air injection control solenoid do not have any detectible electrical faults. The PCM commands the pump to run and the solenoid to open and add forced air to the exhaust stream. The PCM then looks at the oxygen sensors in the exhaust to see if there is added oxygen in the exhaust as expected. If the oxygen sensors do not indicate that added oxygen is present, DTCP0411 sets. There is also an air pressure sensor involved in this system, but I have never replaced one of these...failure is rare. With all that said, I have replaced MANY air injection control solenoids to fix this fault. I have also replaced a couple pump motors, but not nearly as many as the solenoids. The air injection pump is located under the vehicle below the driver's seat. You should be able to hear it running occasionally - it sounds like a small vacuum cleaner when it runs. If the pump runs, this is not likely to be the problem and you will most likely have to replace the solenoid. The solenoid is located on the right side of the cylinder head. Envoy 2005 XL Cruise control not working

Your dealership should have seen any underlying codes. Most Cruise controls I've worked on are used on the vehicles vacuum. that is where i would start, because on a grade your engine uses more vacuum pressure thus taking from some where else.
