I have a Laars Litel LLG 175 N pool heater. For a while the red LED on the control block would stop flashing and it would stop firing. I jiggled some of the wires and the light would start flashing and t would run again. Now it won't run. I've tried removing each spade terminal and cleaning it but so far, no luck. Any suggestions? It may be a loose solder on the circuit board where the spade connector is set into the printed board. Not easy to see but there may be a hairline crack. I've repaired this issue with a small soldering iron. From the factory wires are secured by zip ties or some sort of fastener, and pulled tight. This sometimes does harm to the board. That red light may have some small letters next to it on the board indicating a fault, and you moving the wire was actually a loose connection that reset it. And the loose connection had nothing to do with the main issue at hand. The red blinking light may be a trouble code also. Count the blinks, or if continuous, may give a fault code. Most pool heaters I've worked on have issues with high limit, meaning the unit faults due to overheating. And many times I've had the maintenance guys back flush at the pool filter/pump system, cycle off the heater(furnace) at the main power disconnect or breaker, and power it back up. Simply turning off the switch on the unit may not reset it. Be safe and ensure all wires are place back to their original position and that all voltage is turned off when servicing. And that all run capacitors are properly discharged before servicing. Hope this helps!

The safety valve isn't opening .It's very possible that a spider is trapping the opening of the orifice.

Don't bother pall,
I had the same problem. The thing is that acer no longer maintain their flatbed scanners because they sold the brand for scanners to benq. Not a big surprise, huh?! ;)
So there are no such thing as a flatbed acer scanner driver for vista.

Laars is now part of the Jandy Corp. I'm sure that is where I found it last I needed it. It is a good place to start

LLG 175 TURNS ON BURNER COME ON FOR ABOUT 10 MIN THEN SHUTS OFF BEFORE DESIRED TEMP IS REACHED

This is generally in the water flow. If water gets to the heater the pressure will make it fire but without proper flow the water in the exchanger boils and will shut the heater down. On the rear of the water manifold block their is a eye shaped piece held in with two bolts. Remove these bolts and the plate comes off and will have a brass or steel rod coming from it and a spring around the rod. Their should be a plastic disc on the end of the spring. As the water comes in the heater the excess water that the heater can't handel will push on the disc and spring and flow past the heater. I think you will find this disc broken or gone letting all or most of the water to go past the heater giving the symptom you describe. Your heater may be old enough for an external by-pass. This will be a valve bridging from the inlet and outlet pipes. If you have this it should be 80-90% closed. I hope this helps and good luck.
