I have an Acer Aspire One Netbook (model number:KAV60). It has a 32-bit Windows 7 operating system that came with one 1 GB RAM card. What is the maximum ram that I can put in? I've been reading that it is one 2 GB RAM card but i'm not sure

Unit can be upgraded to 4gb max.

if your computer is 5 yrs or older it might not support windows 7 also you will need a minimum of 1 GB of RAM for 32 bit or 2GB of RAM for 64 bit to install windows 7

Your processor is the problem : It's a dual core 1GHz AMD C-Series processor C-50 and even though it might barely be able to run the game, the game was made before the processor type was released, and thus the game doesn't know what the heck it is and only sees that its a 1GHz CPU and thus considers it to slow to run the game.

I googled your pc model and found that you just need to install extra RAM (if your PC have less than 1 GB RAM).

Not all systems are supported by Windows 7. Infact many items that were supported by vista are not supported in windows 7.

looking at your system specs you woudl originally have AMD Mobile Sempron 3000+ / 1.8 GHz , 256mb ram and windows xp home as your original.

i do not recommend a 1ghz system. i would recommend a 2ghz or better with 2GB of memory for a basic version

This is the limitation of a 32 bit (x86) Operating System. A 32 bit OS can detect upto 3GB RAM only.

You may either try installing the x64 Bit of XP Operating System or Vista Service Pack 1 or 2 for 32 bit Vista Operation System to resolve the issue.

After installing the SP 1 or 2 of the Vista OS in the Computer, the OS will detect 4GB RAM.
