Dram Led on my motherboard blinks red twice

Don't panic. take a good light above your computer and start checking if every card and every connector is still correct inserted. Feel if nothing is lose. Even cards you did fasten with a screw, remove the screw and look and feel if the card was inserted correct. Everything you inserted in the motherboard should be checked. It could be a card you did not put in correct at the first time, but still made contact and only got lose because of some tension to shock.

Hi mine wont show screen at all! i reset ram no help. i turn it on no screen n after about 20 secs it has one long beep?? i cant tell if its loading or not!

the long beep indicates faulty ram oir graphics card, i would say ram, you also need to reset the bios, via the cmos jumper or battery, continuous long beep is a dram error, so the ram is faulty, get some new ram and make sure its specs match the computer

Hi i have a 8220 and red light is blinking on charging. I have checked very possible thing even the charger but cant get around pls help! thanks

Hi,
Please don't worry this is caused because of various reasons. The lights explains what could be the problem

Orange and Yellow lights mean no defects in the mobile.Orange is phone battery is very low.Yellow is for boot up..

Red light means-You have power management problem.
You have to understand why it is being caused..

1)Due to dead battery. The phone will charge but you phone battery will not get charged it acts like it is getting charged.Behind the scene it cant store the charge.
2)Due to charger is not working properly no charge in the battery.

So you have replace this accordingly..

Please try this some time phone booting may be stopped,
This is not a solution when the battery is dead or fully down....

Sometimes The boot cycle of the phone is stopped. You have to start it.Remove the battery and place it again and press the red 'end' button continuously until the red light flashing stays on.Press green button' call' button and hold the red button...Now press these two buttons alternatively until you see hour glass symbol. Now when you see hour glass wait and see the phone booting....

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Cant get it to turn on or charge

Flashing red light 3 times and won't boot. I recently recalibrated the battery and again the 3 flashing red lights. Seem to be draining the battery fast. It's also a new battery...which work for about 2 weeks before the 3 flashing red lights first started. Now 2 batteries later. It won't boot.

Will not post

yaa this type of beep means your RAM is missing.
to confirm this, just remove your RAM and boot, you will find the same beep.

if this the your case, try thsese:

1...clean the RAN connection point, and insert it again, then try too boot. if not.

2....change the RAM in another slot and try to boot,

if no luck then, change the RAM..

Thanks
Iqbal
