Fr 360 fm radio goes off for no obvious reason

MOST times you MANUALLY dial to your desired station... then HOLD the desired button down for 5 seconds or until you hear a "BEEP".

Obviously the cord is hardwired to the mike body. I can't determine if this is also true of the left side where it goes in to radio body. If the cord is removable from the body, buy a new handset, repair will probably be higher. If not, you're going to need a repair shop, the cord is a multiconductor specialized cable. Depending on your location, Google vhf/fm radio repair or two way radio repair, there should be someone in most maritime areas. Regards

Sorry I couldnt be more specific.

there is no transmission on FM because CB is at 26 to 27Mhz on the AM Band and as with your car radio FM starts around 88Mhz. the other reason is tha one one modulates amplatude(AM) slightly to cary the signal, FM modulates the frequincy slightly to carry the transmission.


if you want to talk on FM you might want to become a Amateur "Ham" Radio Operator.
