Hey...i have a 95 eclipse non turbo...just replaced the engine but wont start ...when i turn the key all the lights turn on the engine light comes on then turns of ....but my windshild wippers turn on but wont turn of...im not getting any power to my fuel pump and part of my engine harness

Its probably got an electric igniter rather than a coil, either way it sounds like your not getting for in your piston cylinder.

Your problem is most likely because you are describing your vehicle as a "Gs". The only similar listings in the catalog are for a "GSX". (The parts counter person probably has no clue that there is a difference) The GSX is only built in a turbo version, therefore you will not find a water outlet for the non-turbo version...it simply does not exist.

Now, if you simply describe it as an Eclipse, there are water outlets listed for the turbo 2.0L, the non-turbo 2.0L and the non-turbo 2.4L engines. You did not bother to mention engine size, so I will list the part numbers for BOTH of the non-turbo engines.

For the 2.4L engine: Compressor Works Part Number 815517

For the 2.0L engine: Compressor Works Part Number 815576

Both are available from AutoZone

if u did all that and u still can hear the fuel pump run then u need to replace the fuel pump

i have a 97 eclipse and when my gas light comes on i have 10 to 20 miles until i run outa gas. depending on how you car runs and if it is turbo or not. on a non turbo 420a motor w/ a 5 speed i can do this.

Adjust the shift linkage. It's come loose.

did you get the codes by doing the "key dance"(on,off,on,off,on) ?

if so, it almost always flashes a 12 and 55. here is what they mean.

12 - direct power input to the PCM has been disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles

55 - End of error messages

I have a 1997 mit-eclipse non-turbo I been have a problem of a no start.I can start the car from the ignition switch but it won't start from the key? So I change the key lock cyclinder and the house and I still have the same problem. All my light come on ,but no start with the key

yes. they are exactly the same.

NOTE:

• the 95-96 year models, have a few sensor plugs that are different than the 97-99 models. such as the coil pack and the cam angle senor.
