I locked myself out of my phone.

I know my password but it is not working. I need to know how to get into my phone it is doing a hella cont down until the next time I can try it again its over an hour now

    Okay i put a password on my phone so no one was able to unlock it and use it after so many mintues, but now when i restart it or turn it off it ask me to put in my password but it's not letting me put in anything and there is no way i am able to put the passwaord in. I have restarted and took the battery off several times and nothing has happen. I need help.

I had the same problem, and my solution, was to simply take the battery out and restart from scratch. The other solution I have would be to seek professional help from the local phone dealership that sold you the phone and see if one of their tech guys can help you out by at least rebooting the phone. And if all else fails, remember, that the HTC PPC 6800 (aka Mogul, Titan) can be plugged into your pc, and if you're feeling lucky, you can reboot it yourself. Good Luck.

Frozen phone
I had this problem with a android phone myself unfortunately you may have to get another one. but try this out. hold down the up volume and power but until the phone shuts off, that should put the phone in super user mode. once it goes in reset mode ( you'll know because there will be a little android on the screen. Then just power off by holding down the power button again and let the phone come back on.

This happened to me.... before you do this beware that your entire phone will reset... ok...let's get started.. while your phone is off hold the volume up button, muve music button and started button all at the same time until a yellow triangle shows up...next let the buttons go and press the up and down volume buttons until the reset screen pops up...use your volume keys to navigate to factory reset and hit enter with the muve music button.. itshould ask you if you want to reset your phone so scroll down to yes.. after this it should say at the bottom wipe successful or something of that nature... the phone should then cut off and cut back on itself.... that should do it.. hope this helps.

My son changed the password on Samsung Focus phone and is locked out because he cant remember the new password. It keeps saying he is locked out for 2 hours until we can try again when incorrect code is...
If you're still stuck. More then likely the only thing to do is a factory reset, I locked my own self out of the phone within the first 20 minutes I had it. Only after a certain amount of incorrect inputs, it put a time limit, and at the end of the time, every failed attempt doubled the amount of time I had to wait. You will lose everything on your phone if you do you do this.

1. Press and hold the Camera, Volume Down, and Power buttons simultaneously.
2. Release Power when the phone vibrates, but continue to hold down Camera and Volume Down.
3. Release Camera and Volume Down when the Format prompt is displayed on screen.
4. Press Windows logo.
5. Press Windows logo again to confirm the hard reset.

This is exactly what I did, and it worked.

just enter blackberry and after a certain times of getting the password wrong the phone will reset itself and you can enter a new password for your phone.

Locked out of my LG xenon need subsidy code
1-Remove sim card and tap emergency or From the standby screen
2-Select Dialing Button
3-Dial "3845#*500#" (you will then be in the engineering menu)
4-Reset phone
Your password should now be removed.

Locked myself out of my mogul
You may have to do a hard reset.

You do this by:

Holding down both left and right soft keys (the buttons above the red and green phone keys) while pressing the reset button (on the bottom of your phone) with the stylus. Hol down the soft keys until you see a message asking if you want to reset. You then need t slide the keyboard open and press the appropriate key.

Warning: this will reset your phone to manufacturers settings; all data will be erased. Your phone, however, will no longer have a password, and you will be able to set a new one.

Password locked on htc touch diamond
Do a hard reset. Press and hold volume down and center button and then press the red reset button behind the stylus. Cntinue holding the volume down and center button until the screen apperas with some message. Press vol up key now and let the device reset to the original factory settings..
N.B All your data and 3rd party apps will be lost
