Make sure all the cables are connected properly.

Treble must be at mid-setting.

My built-in microphone doesn't work. It says it's working but every time I try to talk, it doesn't recognize my voice. Any suggestions on what I should do?

My windows is in french, so I might not translate the windows' names right, but i'll try to help you.
Maybe it's muted, check in your Configuration Panel, in "Sound and Audio", in the Volume Tab, click on the first "Advanced configurations". And check if it's muted.

Toyota Corolla 1997 I've installed kickers in the rear (KS series to match the front)... had those going for a couple of weeks with no problems. Yesterday i went to install the KS400 series in the...

take one of the front speakers out and pull out the head unit and unplug a set of audio wires(front right, front left ect.) and hook it up directly from the radio to the speaker there for bypassing all the cars wires. If it works then there's a problem with the car's wiring(maybe an inline amp). If it doesn't work, then try a known good speaker from somewhere else(home stereo speaker for example) and connect it to the radio, if the speaker works, your radio is fine and there may be a problem with the speakers. If it doesn't work then you have a problem with the head unit.

My pc left speaker didn't work. no sounds.

If one speaker doesn't work, then I would check the audio with another set of speakers. It could also be the sound balance that is turned all the way to the right. You can change the volume and balance in the control panel and sounds icon.

Dear zoodude, this is not normal because no matter what song or type of audio , the left speaker still has more bass than the right .

Check the balance, just to be sure. But, yes, most stereo's output more bass on one channel than the other. Bass is omnidirectional, so it doesn't need to be the same on both sides.

If you think it might be a speaker issue, swap the speakers and see if it stays the same - if it doesn't, you've got a speaker problem or a wiring problem. Make sure each speaker has the same length wire, and the same type/gauge.

Very low volume HK 695-01

There are several ways in which you can increase the volume.

First, the most obvious way is to use the volume control attached to the speaker unit itself. If that isn't working, there's also an icon in the lower right-hand portion of the task bar in Windows. Simply click the ^ button, select the icon that looks like a speaker, then drag that up to your desired preference.

If that doesn't work, click on Start, go to Control Panel, click on Sound, then search for your Speakers in the "Playback" tab. First, make sure it's set as your Default Device. There should be a green check mark in it. Double click on those, select Levels, then make sure Play Control is set to maximum.
If that doesn't work, then check the settings on your Sound Card. Make sure the wire going into the back is plugged in properly. You may need to update your sound card drivers. If you aren't sure who the manufacturer of your sound card is, you can find out by going to Start > Control Panel > Device Manager. The Manufacturer will be under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

Once you have that information, you can go to the Manufacturer's website and update the Drivers. If this doesn't resolve the issue you are experiencing, or if you require more specific / additional information, simply respond to this thread. I'll be happy to assist you further.
