When I turn on my Pilishave razor the blades don't turn. When I open the top, the plastic pieces the turn the blades turn, but when I close it the blades don't turn. What is wrong?

Your blades are either damaged and locking up or they are so clogged with hair that they can not turn.
I suggest that you try to clean them first. If that doesn't work you will need to change them. You will find replacements for model HQ4806 at shaveroutlet.com. See link below for product and disassembly instruction video

How do I remove the old blade from my clio palm shaver

Hi tluve555-
I'm assuming you are talking about a clio plamperfect battery-operated shaver. In that case, grip the shaver with one had and with the other use your thumb and forefinger to grab the combs on either side of the blade case. The blade is one unit that should easily pop out...it's ok to give it a little pressure. Hope this helps!

Remington Electric Shaver..How do I disassemble a Model XLR 900. 8BF2-1C. I want to replace the battery.

Unfortunately these rechargeable razors are not designed to be easily serviced by the home user.
Changing the battery will definitely involve a bit of searching for the multiple screws which hold the case together and then disassembling the case to access the battery compartment. Just watch out for any screws which may be hiding under the rubber padding pieces. You will then likely be required to desolder the old battery out and then resolder your new battery back into place.

Here is a link to a site which describes the various methods for disassembling battery powered shavers:

Here is a link to a replacement battery available for your model:

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information and items at the website indicated.

Thank you very much and good luck.

I have a Andis AGC super 2, I have only owned this since last summer so this unit has only been used 9 times. I cut three dogs and I have been through 6 drivers. WHATS the DEAL!!! I am going crazy. When I...

ok firstly you must oil the blade every 15 min's or so this wil prevent rust build up and also prolong the life of the blade. (further details can be found at http://angliaclipperservices.com/clipper_blades.html)

ensure the blade is snapped into place correctly this can be done by pushing the front edge of the blade away from the clipper. The blade should not detatch without the black latch being depressed so if he blade comes away simply push it into the clipper with it running until it is in place.

Replace battery

Depends on waht kind of shaver do you have. I just changed battery in my remington R650. There are 6 screws to hold the shaver together and they are all hinden. Step 1 to take off the shaver blade assembly on top. It is very easy because it is linked by a wire spring. Two scews will revealed and took them out using a philips screw driver. Then take top black part off then threw shafts to drive the blades will come off together. Then took the trim off. It will take some time. I have to take a piece by piece. Then take two red plastic covers pieces off which will reveal 4 screws under it. I use thin knife to pry them off. After you take off 4 screws, the shaver will be open. You will see the two NiCd 600amh batteres connected serial inside the shaver. They are soldered through wires to the PCB.

Bought new last year the A-5 and seems like already after light use, is not cutting as smooth. Tried to change the blades figuring they were dull but still have the problem. The do seem to chatter a bit....

before adjusting spring pressure check the two screws either side of the hinge *** make sure they are tight and also check to see if this component has pulled away from the body.

3F blade, took the blade out to clean, can't get back together

That's probably the blade guide. It goes on the "spring"; the piece that holds the cutting blades together.
The blade won't work without it.

TRIMMER STAYS IN OPEN POSITION

I had this problem, and it was due to the breakage of a plastic part.  If you slide the trimmer open you can see a piece of spring wire beyond the end of the word 'trimmer'.  The broken piece should locate the end of this spring; if it fails then the spring no longer forces the trimmer blade fully shut.  As the trimmer was opened and closed I could see that the spring did not stay symmetrically placed.  I could also see one end of the spring inside the mechanism, rubbing on the surface under the slider - but not the other.
To help with the instructions, let me identify some parts: "A" is the sliding part that your thumb pushes to open the trimmer; it carries the word 'trimmer'.  "B" is the hinged part that carries the trimmer blade itself and the word 'washable'.  "C" is the flexible piece of black plastic that connects A to B and on which the central section of the spring pushes.
To fix, first remove the sliding section A: slide the trimmer open and push a thin screwdriver down one edge of the slider.  Prise the lugs that hold A in place, away from their slots. Disconnect the connector C from the blade part B (gently push the lugs outwards, one at a time). Turn over the slider A and you should be able to see that one or both lugs that are intended to keep the ends of the spring in place, have broken.  (They are on a silver moulding fixed to the underside of slider A).  I fixed both ends in place with some two-part epoxy - be careful not to get glue on the other parts!  Allow to dry completely and reassemble.
