Try to disconnect the positive wire and ground it out to the frame or negative terminal to eliminate all the power and reconnect it after 15 seconds and it should turn the radio back on.

How do you change out a starter on a 2005 Kia Sedonna Van?

The starter is between the radiator and engine, there is a bolt thru the transmission and a bolt with a nut below it to remove. You'll need to disconnect the positive cable on the battery. Unbolt the cable from the solenoid and unplug the connector on the solenoid. The wires going to the starter are bolted to the transmission mount, it might be helpful unbolting that to get a little more slack in the wires.

Radio not working

I believe the Kia has 2 fuses for the radio, one in the cabin, and one in the engine compartment. Check them both. If they are good, your radio is toast.
