I am needing to replace the handle that you push when using the spreader and possibly the cable too. Where can i buy replacement parts

Contact Scotts online and they will Fedex the whole handle free, not just the lever. No kidding.

Not sure where you can buy parts, but if you have a good, quality bicycle store nearby, you can probably get one made up for you or go to a store such as Wal-Mart, buy a cable that has an end on it, and you can cut to length and put a stop on the other end. May help you if you cannot find a replacement. Probably looking at $3 to 5 at the most.

I have a Republic EZ drop fertilizer spreader. The gray plastic device (2 pieces, one screwed inside the other) up by the push handle that rotates to widen or narrow the slot at the bottom of the fertilizer storage bin when the handle is squeezed is broken. The cable connecting the device to the movable part of the slot is OK. The gray plastic has numbers on it that show through a small square opening in the gray plastic closest to the push handle. Where can I get a replacement part?
