This problem look LCD cable problem. You might need to check the LCD cable conecctions to the Motherboard and to the LCD if it is lose or broken.
You can connect an external monitor. If it displays, the video card is fine.

Do the following steps -
- Remove the laptop battery
- Remove the CMOS battery
- Leave it for idle for around 15 minutes
- Put the CMOS battery in
- Boot the laptop with AC power
- Then put the laptop battery in.
- The BIOS pwd would have been reset now
- For troubleshotting the battery - Go into BIOS and run the Battery Caliberation tool
