I had to start my '87 GMC s15 truck manually- sylanoid remained open several times. when i got to my destination, my truck was completely dead. got it home due to a pull-start. thought it was just the sylanoid...wrong! i've replaced the battery, starter and the syalanoid but the truck will not turn over and i cannot afford a manual for it- but the problem is obviously in the ignition- where do i go from here? can anyone, please, help me out?

First check for 12-12.6 volts at battery if you have 12 volts at battery then,check for 12 volts at starter power cable if you have 12 volts there then check for 12 volts on the switch side of starter solenoid ( purple wire ) this should get you started in the right direction.Let me know what you find out.

Fuel pump does not pump for an 87 S15 GMC jimmy how to verify if it is bad
That pump should be in the gas tank. If it doesn't pump (you can't hear it start working when you turn the ignition on), it is either bad, or you have a fault in the wiring (e.g. fuel pump relay, broken wire).

85 s15 hesitates/sputters
check for a faulty / blocked accelerator pump /circuit as this fits the lack of fuel squirt on acceleration description. Also check the timing of the ignition.

89 gmc f150 v6 chugging out like its gona die
F150 is a Ford model truck, not GMC.
But at any rate, since I don't know if you have a Ford F150 of some kind, a 87 GMC S15 or some kind of 89 GMC with a V6 I will suggest taking the ignition module to an Auto Zone and having them test it (A free service). Also test the fuel pressure.
If a tune up and fuel filter has not been done in some time that could very well be an issue.

I need the fireing order for a 2000 sonoma 4.3 vortec and when i put the gas pedal to the floor it bogs down i just did a complete tune up and it still does it and no engine light is on

Thanks for the help. I traced the wireing to the fuel tank. Found a dead fuel pump.
It was the original. The truck has 139,000 miles. Probably prety good considering
it a GM product
