Hi, I have an issue with my dynalink modem rta1025we. When it is left downloading for a while the modem appears to be restarting itself. I don't think it is related to a temporary disturbance in the power supply / faulty power cord. If the internet service is disrupted the ppp light will just go off but not all the lights like the whole model has been just turned on. Please advise me if the product is faulty or is a setting on the model that is causing this trouble.

Logon to the router 2.select the connection type(PPPOE) 4.Save settings 5.Configure wireless setting(SSID,Wep) Configure pc with the same SSID and WEP uplug the ethernet cable and check if your are able to connect wireless
If you have an installer better to install it on the computer that your router installed, or just visit the site and download the update driver of your router. Just a thought thanks.
It seems the Dynalink Analog Modem doen't support wi-fi. You'll need both a wireless router/modem and a wireless network card in order to be able to connect using a wireless signal.
For future reference, it is usually 9-12v AC for an external serial modem because it has to be able to generate both positive and negative 12v rails to be able to communicate over RS232 serial.
A serial modem that requires AC but is provided with 12v DC will power on but won't "talk" to the PC.
I would check network connections in your control panel first and make sure your wireless connection is enabled. Next I would go to System in control panel and then go to device manager and check to see if the drive for the wireless is installed. May want to try here for the Driver download.
