Problem is likely a stuck needle valve or ruptured diaphragm causing flooding -- a carburetor rebuild is indicated.

Poulan Pro blower BVM200vs won't start. No spark, changed coil, now I have spark, gas flow good. Tried grounding kill switch to engine & tried removing switch. Do magnets need 2 B indexed to shaft?

The flywheel should have a woodruff key on it, which fits in the groove on the crank shaft. This means the timing is pre set. When setting the timing gap, use a business card between the magnet on the flywheel and the ignition module, tighten them in that position and remove the card.

Is fuel getting into the cylinder and actually wetting the plug.?
Do you have good compression?

New blower will not fire

Check for spark at the plug by using a simple spark checker tool. Got to have both or it won't start.

Am replacing ignition module , What is the gap setting ? Poulan mode; BVM200VS

Use a clean and dry business card or other card stock paper to set the gap. That is almost perfect for the .006" setting.
Good luck!

Poulan blower was running - ran out of gas - put gas in - won't start- primed - won't start - let sit - won't start-took cover off - sprayed starter fluid in carb - won't start- -(very little stutter)...

Hello
Does it use a fuel and oil mixture? You probably did that.

Try removing the spark plug and cleaning it with a wire brush or some emery cloth.Make sure you have spark by connecting the plug wire and resting the plug on the metal motor block.

Do not hold the plug in your hand ,if you have no spark you may have a bad magneto.
