MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. 1. Try a different USB port. If other ports recognize it, then the original port is fried.
2. Try a different computer. If the other computer does not recognize it, then your flash drive is damaged.
Remove it, and try another usb port. Most of the newer drives have "software" that tries to run. It's possible it's just hung up. If after you try another port and a reboot; then, consider it lost.
1) Try plugging the player into other USB ports. Some players require a "high power" USB port, and most computers/laptops have a mix of high power and low power USB ports. Typically the high power USB ports are found on the back of the computer/laptop.
2) Verify that the USB cable is undamaged.
3) Some players are able to operate in one of two modes, "MSC" and "MTP". Usually you can switch between the two modes via a Settings menu on the player. Some players can only operate in one of the two modes. If your player is set to MTP mode, or can only operate in this mode, you need to have Windows Media Player version 10 or higher installed. (Many older computers have version 9 installed, which won't work with MTP.) You can find this software here:
Here's what you can do since this is a USB wireless adapter, first connect the USB adapter on a different USB port on the computer better if you connect it on the back USB port of the computer tower and check if the computer will recognize it and if its recognize you can already continue with the software installation , but if not you can restart first the computer and check if the adapter will be recognized if still not the next thing to do here just to know if the adapter is good or bad is to connect it on a different computer and just to check if it will be recognized once its connected to a USB port , because a device should be automatically will be recognized by a computer once you connect it so if its still not recognized by a different computer adapter is bad...
If you are using Mac, you must use USB to connect to connect to itunes. If you are using Windows you MUST use Firewire. I don't know why this is but each system won't recognize the other's connection medium. Make sure you are using the correct cable. If my wire connection doesn't work then it is reversed. Try it the other way around. The only other thing I could think of is that you are trying to upload an MP4 that the system doesn't recognize. try a format converter if this is the problem, they can either be demoed or bought four 20 bucks or so.
