Driving force pro steering wheel

The wheel on start up doesn't seem to locate itself. when the wheel stops both green lights are flashing. The buttons do not respond so you can't use the wheel. Is there somewhere it can be sent to be repaired? Also can you give a ballpark figure to repair this or is it better just to buy another wheel? Thanks, David

A solution from Youtube comments:

"if u realy want this wheel to work u need to open it up, and there is a rail u can move foward to lock the wheel into 180, then fire up your pc ps3 or game and let it calibrate. and it will stay in 180 (left led on)then after it has done that push the rail backwards for 900 (both leds on). and its all good, the rail is white plastic and is under the big metal bar. u cant miss it.
ive cut a hole in mine at the top so i can move the rail whenever :)"

Pull the steering wheel and clean the turn signal switch and look for broken parts. If that doesn't fix it, then replace the turn signal wand on the steering column.

Force gt wheel doesnt steer, everything else works fine?

The wheel should be plugged in and powered up before turning on the PS3. While booting the wheel should go through its full range of motion and the horn button light will stop blinking and stay on steady. If the light doesn't stop blinking the wheel failed to calibrate and is probably defective. I had to exchange mine and did end up getting one that worked this time.
