There are many possibilities why you're encountering this problem.. oh by the way? Where did you get the upgrade disc?

Then here's the thing. When you installed this upgrade:
-if its not asking you for a product key, then maybe its an OEM version of an upgrade disc. meaning to say, its designated for a certain computer only.
-if it asked you for the product key and it still prompts you with an error regarding the Windows Genuine Certificate, the product key that you typed in could be wrong or the license could already be in use by other users.

and regarding the original Operating system that came with your computer which is Vista, I would suggest you try reinstalling it with the disc that came with your computer when you bought it. and if you want to upgrade it back to Windows 7. try contacting your Computer manufacturer and request for upgrade discs for Windows 7

Background is always black and theres always a "you may be a victim of software counterfeiting" at the lower right corner of the monitor. Hope someone help me

You need to reinstall the operating system and see if that repairs the problem. I had this same issue about a month ago. What happened, assuming you went through the activation process and I assume you have Windows Vista installed, is the file that has you activation information in it was corrupted and needs to be rebuilt. Use the System Recovery CD's, make sure you save any data you need and have the installation disk for anything you added after the computer was purchased. Microsoft ended up sending me a set of installation disk after they confirmed that I had previously registered the product and had a legal copy.

Hi, befor i install window 7 my laptop running window vista now istall window 7 geniune 7600 build i want update update driver but show the screen victim of software counterfeiter please help me how to...

Buy the license first.

Download Key Update Tool, a utility provided by Microsoft to change the key of the Windows version installed.

The download address is http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=50346&clcid=0x409

Double-click the utility will then check the system files.

Enter the official key and click Next.

Accept the license agreement and click Next.

The key is legalized.

Click Finish.

Windows restarts.

I need help uninstalling window seven so that i can get back window vista that was bought with my computer

You cannot uninstall an operating system once it's installed. The only way to remove it is to reformat the hard drive (meaning erasing everything) and then installing Vista (if you have the isntallation disk that came with the computer). Now some PC's have a restore button like Lenovo or IBM computers where all you need to do is press that button and then it will reload the operating system and therefore erasing the one that's installed in your computer. For all other computer brands, you would need the Installation disk.
If you have the installation disk, just put the disk inside then restart the computer. As the computer restarts, continuously tap F12 to pull up the boot options menu. Then select " boot to optical/CD/DVD drive" then press enter and from there, just follow the instructions and you're good to go.

Note: You should always ask for the Installation disks for the OS (operating system) whenever you
buy one that came pre-installed with an OS. Always.

Hope this helps.

When I install Rockstar midnight 2 in my pc.it shows the error of crc . I am using the windows 7 in my computer

with this type of problem the best way to solve it is to reformat the operating system and re-install a new operating system window 7, or better still change the operating system to another version like Window Vista or Window Xp service pack 2.

I want to change the operating system wimdows vista to windows 07 from K.ganesh kumar 09441089186

You have 2 options (purchase)
1. upgrade the win vista to win 7 - you need to check the type of win vista that you have if it is 32 or 64 bit or HOME BASIC HOME PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL ULTIMATE
home basic is not win 7 upgrade supported.

2. Win 7 OS full version disk.

Back up all of your files before doing anything on your computer.

Hello Dr Mallik,

Normally your operating system will find the correct drivers for your hadware, but if have the orginal disc's with the computer system then I suggest you use them to install the drivers onto your computer. Falling that you could always go the internet and search on ask.co.uk to locate drivers for youe operating system.

Please let me know how you get on.
