Our Norton Anto virus expires in August 2011 and yet we get this warning message to renew our norton. Can you help to reinstated on the computer We don't have a problem with our connection. What happened we sent the computer to be repaired, I think they have deleted anything on the computer and we are left with no protection. I have the Norton Key.

When you sign up for Norton, Symantec puts you in their 'Automatic Renewal service', every year they'll bill you to use their anti-virus product.

You should call customer support @ 1-800-745-6034 and ask for a refund if you no longer want to use the product.

If you want to continue using the product, but just disable the auto-renewal service:

1. Sign into you Norton Account :

• check the time and date on the computer
• or, the product is not up to date

you can uninstall and reinstall the product again if it is renewed:

It means that you have to renew your subscription to Norton anti virus.
Otherwise, if you don't want to pay, uninstall norton completely and then install AVG anti virus which has a free version.

when you have ordered the renewal, you should have received an email with a renewal code. Even if you have not received the email just go to the URL so that you can access your order and get the renewal code. When you open the norton antivirs screen,there are two tabs on the top.Click on the one that says "Norton Antivirus" and not the one that says "Norton antivirus protection centre"
Then click on the "Support" option and select "Subscription" and walla...enter your code

Most of the Norton antivirus comes with one year subscription. date u mentioned here seems like more then 1 year old. That's why it says expired
If you dont want to spend any more money on antivirus then uninstall this one and download AVG from this site. this is really good antivirus for free and good for ever.

the problem lies in the registry uninstall norton 360 then re-install this clears the reg then try your key again.

my personal View Don't use norton 360 as it will slow your system down use Kespersky Internet security this is the best one out and also use avg virus program when you switch to kaspesky internet security then remove avg which you can get a free version.
