There may be possible damage of processor or mother board.First of all check is there warranty period exists? If so! Consult with theauthorized dealer to rectify/replace the thing what ever may be. AND if not warranty whatsoever, let we checkthe system step by step at our own. Unplug your system. Open the casing ofsystem. Disconnect each and every thing within the system. Pull out RAM, PROCESSOR,any mounted cards. Use compressed air to make your system dust free. Now placethe processor and RAM in their places. Only keep only connected motherboard.Start computer by plugging it on. Note! If you have more than one RAM CHIPcheck one by one and also one at each available at memory bank (slot). Checkall the fans first working properly. There may be at least two fans one in thePower supply and other one on the processor. Check out any beep sound if any. Youshould also try to also check with an other Power supply. This is the processfor locating problem. When display appeared reconnect all card one by one andcheck. At the end NOW connect Hard disk and boot your computer. You will bedone INSHALLAH. Forget me not. AMSHAD

Intermittent black lines samsung hlp5067w

When the lines are showing, check to see if you can see them with the on screen menu being displayed, if you can then it is the DMD board, if you cannot then it is just the digital board.

Error code 928 service erase lamps

Erase Lamp Service Check (010/212/414/616)
Error code 928 may be displayed when the printer detects that the erase lamp assembly, cable or engine board is defective.
Note: If the erase lamp assembly is defective, both the erase lamp and lens are replaced as a kit. Models 41b/41e/41l and any model at service level B do not have erase lamps installed. Go to "Printer Serial Label" on page 7-2 to identify the printer service level. Make the following checks when a 928 service error displays.

1 Cable, Front Harness
Check the connection of the front harness to connector J10 on the engine board for correct installation. If incorrect, repair as necessary.Check the front harness to erase lamp assembly for correct
installation. If incorrect, repair as necessary.


2 Engine Board Remove the controller board and toner cartridge from the machine. Ground pin J10-15. The erase lamps turn on. The lamps can be observed through the front of the machine with
the cover open and print cartridge removed. If the lamps do not turn on, measure the voltage on J10-14. The voltage reads approximately +24 V dc. If incorrect, replace the engine board. If correct, check the voltage at J10-15. The voltage reads between +15 V dc to +20 V dc. If incorrect, check the continuity of the erase lamp lines in the main harness. If incorrect, replace the cable harness. If correct, replace the erase lamp assembly.

E-5 error code

E5 code refer to fuser unit.To dfisplay both digits press the Enter.
E 52 Fusing error 1 Defective thermistor,heater lamp open,defective main or ac/dc drive board.
E 53 Fusing error 2 thermistor in shortcircuit,fusing harness shorted or ac/dc power supply board defective.
E 54 fusing error 3 main board or ac/dc board defective.
E 55 Fusing error 4 rhermistor open,defective main board or fusing lamp open.
When E5 service call condition occur for safety reasons they cannot be cleared by turn OFF/ON the power switch.After repairing the copier turn ON the main switch.Enter in the SP mode and press 97.Turn the main switch OFF wait 10 sec and turn ON.

Please check after replace the continuity the expo lamp,expo thermofuse.The E codes are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E codes press the enter key.
E 11 - Exposure lamp error.Possible cause: expo lamp open,expo thermofuse open,power supply defective,main board defective.
E 12 - Exposure lamp error.Posible cause:AC drive board defective,main board defective.
E 13 =Zero cross signal error.Possible cause:main board,power supply defective,zero cross line open or the conector on the main board is not conected correctly.
For reset turn ON/OFF the main switch unplugged wait 10sec and turn ON or:turn ON the main switch,turn DIP switch 101-1 ON/OFF and turn the main switch OFF/ON.The DIP switch is located in the rear parts into the main board.

Error mesege Showing E1

The E codes E1-E7 are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the ENTER key.When the machine detect E13 condition E1 is displayed in the copy counter.Hold down the enter key and 13 is displayed.
E 11 - Exposure lamp error.In this case check the exposure lamp continuity,the thermofuse is open or power suplly board defective.
E 12 -Exposure lamp error .AC drive defective,main board defective
E 13 - Zero cross signal error.Main control or DC power board defective.
To clear the service code turn OFF/ON the machine.

Infotec 5221 displays a E-5 symbol

E-codes (E1-E7)are displayed im the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the Enter key.When service call E5 conditions occur,they cannot be cleared by turning OFF/ON the main switch for safety reasons.Ehe following procedure must be performed to clear these service call condition:
Turn ON the main switch.
Turn DIP switch 101-1 ON and OFF.
Turn the main switch OFF and ON.
Code E 52 Fusing lamp warm up error.Causes:thermistor open,fusing lamp open,therofuse open,power supply/ac drive board defective.
Code 53 Fusing lamp overheat.Causes:thermistor short,power supply defective,main board defective.
Code 55 Fusing thermistor open.Causes:thermistor open,main board defective,power supply/ac drive board defective.

Canon NP 7850 keeps blowing the fuser lamp in half!!

Your lamp is not turning off, could be the SSR, could be control board. Replace the lamp, thermistor and the SSR, but monitor fuser operation, make sure the lamp turns off.
If you have a digital thermometer, check the temp when the lamp finally turns off. If it is in Spec. then run a few copies this should cool the rollers and cause the lamp to relight.
If the lamp reached optimal temp but does not turn off, then the control board could be your issue.
