is the same fuse for the tail lights
If you have tail lights then there is a wire in the bulb holder fault or a blown bulb

Replace the bulb, check for dirty contacts and bad ground connections.

very common problem, the light sockets are corroded and require replacement. call your local ford dealer and they will have the parts in stock. good luck

If it is just the license plate light that is out I would check the bulbs. The reason why is that the license plate light is on the same cerict as the parking lights.

if the plate is on the trunk it will most likely be the wiring by the hinge of the trunk,the wires break sometimes after the trunk goes up and down a few thousand times,so just pull on the wires individually and see which one has a break in it and jsut solderit and heat shrink it...hope this helps

kind of tricky, took me an hour to get it figured out, but you got to opend the trunk and take out the 10 or so 10mm nuts sticking out of the backside of the lid, then the whole solid piece where the lights are on the back will slide off, then you can change the bulbs above the license plate and put it all back together

hi, if your license plate bulb cover has no screw holes in it then the chances are its just pushed in it may be a very tight fit but should just pull out its usually held in by two plastic clips that lock once its pushed in so using a screw driver to lever the light cover off should get it off.

If you have a cover on the inside of the boot that covers the wires going to the number plate bulb you may be able to take this off and then be able to see how it comes off.

CHECK TAIL LAMP BULBS AND THE GROUND FOR THE TAIL LAMP ASSMBLYS

To replace headlight, open hood and there will be 2 -13mm bolts holding headlight, parking light and turn signal light. there is also a spring clip under bolts. bulb comes out from behind once you get the whole assembly out.
plate light is just below where it says chevrolet on the back bumper. There are two 7mm bolts holding it up in there, take out the bulb and take it with you so you get the right one. the headlight is 9007 halogen high/low. goodluck

thare is little straight open slots on each side of the lens. put a small screwdriver in these slots to release the assembley then turn the socket out of lens ,the bulb pulls out
