I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this seat expired in 2007. I would strongly urge you to stop using the seat and purchase a new one.

I am aware of the fact that Evenflo only recommends that their products be used for 6 years, however, there is nothing wrong with it and I only used it a couple of times for my daughter. I plan on the continued use of it. If Evenflo makes their products degradable then shame on them. I don't think it is that, I believe it is for the sole purpose of making more money so that people buy newer models. I have figured it out since this post anyway.

I need help ASAP to make the starps bigger

Look in the back of the carseat and you should see where you can adjust the straps and then pull the length trough the front of the carseat. I don't have an evenflo, but sometimes there's a clip you can move forward to make the straps longer.

You need to put the straps throught the bottom, then the top openings you put it through the 2nd **** or where the baby will be comfortable. Then you tie it on the back.

Cant tighten straps

To answer this in detail, I need the car seat name and manufacturer. Always the best bet is to look in the original owner's manual. If you don't have this, it can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

I cant losen the tether in the back

Usually you just rotate the buckle away from the strap as you push in the release button. Every carseat is a little different so your best bet is to look in the original owner's manual. if yo do not have it, it can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

Garage Sale Car Seat

If you push down on the top of the handle you should then be able to move it. Also, to remove the straps you have to feed the bottom portion of the straps from underneath the seat up through first and then you should be able to feed through the material to remove the pad.
