This will happen when your computer is over loaded , that is the memory is over loaded, when it is over loaded , the system hangs and makes every thing work slow. This is the right time for a virus to gain entry because the system will work slow that by the time the virus gains access , the system takes time to activate the antivirus or the firewall.
So i recommend you to clean up your PC and increase your system memory.

Thanks for rating Good luck

Number pad on wireless keyboard not working

turn on your numeric lock............can be enabled in BIOS, should be same as on corded type.... The Print Screen key does not work. Try the following:
  • The Print Screen key copies an image of the screen to the clipboard (not the printer). To use the image, start an application that uses graphics, such as Microsoft Paint, and use the Paste function.
  • If your keyboard has an F Lock key, press it to toggle between Function key modes. On some keyboards, the Print Screen key only works if F Lock is on.

Print screen key on computer.

On a windows computer by hitting print screen you are only copying an image of your computer screen to your clipboard you then have to paste it into an imaging program and save it. For example ... hit the print screen button on your keyboard -> go to start -> programs -> accessories -> paint -> then click the edit menu and click paste you should then see the screen shot of you computer in the paint window you then can go to file -> save and save the image somewhere on your computer.

There is a delay when pressing the keys on my thinkpad T42

you haven't mentioned how other programs behave. i would suggest it is spyware slowing your computer down or one program that is using up to my cpu usage. hitting control-alt-delete will bring up your task manager... at the bottom it shows cpu and memory usage as a percent.... what are the amounts ?

No print on paper

there is a pad on the solenoid, where it contacts the printhammer. this pad gets old and just falls apart. this will need to be taken to a repair shop to have the pad or solenoid replaced, or there is an adjustment screw that can be used to take up the slack caused by the missing pad. the printhead must be taken out of the machine to make this adjustment.

Letter writting problems

Do you use a laptop or some sort of keyboard with a mouse pad? My son used to have that problem when he would type as his thumb would accidentally hit the mouse pad and move the cursor. We solved it in a very low tech way by taping a notecard over the mouse pad when he was using the computer. Depending on the manufacurer, there are ways to turn off the mouse pad while continuing to use a mouse.
